My Visit to the Parliament

recently visited the Parliament of India for the second time. I remember my first time when while planning a students’ visit to the Parliament , I was asked this question by my superior “why visit the Parliament?” In my answer, I tried to explain why it is important to understand the working of democracy in our country. Then came the next question “Do we have a democracy?”. Well, I was standing in front of my superior so all I could say was “Sir, whatever we have, this is it”. That day I got the permission but I kept on thinking, why we can see only the flaws in our democracy? why can’t we appreciate our achievements? Why don’t we see that by doing this we are only accentuating our flaws as we are not suggesting any remedies or reform measures? Just like the NOTA………….
